Reportix

In Swiss healthcare, reporting critical incidents is not optional. It is a legal requirement designed to improve patient safety and institutional learning. Reportix is the tool that makes this process as frictionless as possible, for nurses, social workers, and anyone in direct contact with patients.

The app covers the full spectrum: critical incidents, improvement suggestions, feedback, ideas, and other occurrences. The central design challenge was simplicity in a busy environment. A reporting tool only works if people actually use it, so every interaction was designed to be immediately understood, quick to complete, and free of unnecessary steps.

The process included research, use cases, prototyping, design, illustration, and user testing, developed in close collaboration with a Product Owner and development team.
